Stevie Wonder: The Definitive Collection

UTV Records and Universal Music
It’s not often that an artist can make the transition from one decade to another, but as this 21 song CD shows, Stevie Wonder was able to do just that. Beginning in 1963 with the live recording of “Fingertips Part 2″ and closing out with “Part Time Lover” from 1985, Stevie Wonder: The Definitive Collection follows the incredible career of this singer/songwriter. Spotlighting the 60s material alone, there are three #1 hits, and three Top Ten hits. Not bad for a kid who was just 13 when “Fingertips Part 2″ went #1. It’s no wonder “Little” Stevie Wonder has 18 Grammys, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Even though some of the material falls outside of the Greene County Gold timeline, it’s still a must have for Motown fans.
