Elvis Presley: Christmas Duets

This Christmas CD features a “baker’s dozen” of tracks with the King of Rock and Roll teaming up with some of Country and Gospel’s finest female singers. A few of my personal favorites from this release include renditions of “Santa Claus Is Back In Town” with Wynonna Judd, “Here Comes Santa Claus” featuring LeAnn Rimes and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” with Carrie Underwood. However don’t let the title fool you. Not all of the songs on this CD are duets. The last three cuts are “remixed” versions of some wonderful Christmas songs. And while I typically prefer original versions, the remixed and remastered renditions of “The First Noel”, “If I Get Home On Christmas Day” and “Winter Wonderland” are tastefully done. All in all a nice collection of Christmas songs for the Elvis fan on your list.
