Ralph Joseph Reynolds, known as Jody, the rockabilly singer and songwriter whose lone hit, “Endless Sleep,” ushered in a wave of tragic teenage pop songs in the 1950s, died Nov. 7, 2008. He was 75.
Reynolds was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 1999. His hit “Endless Sleep,” sold more than a million copies in 1958, kicked off the Teen Tragedy genre.
